We have 25 years of professional experience, covering tens of thousands of product approvals, millions of approved goods and thousands of certified management systems. Formal appointments include Telecoms Certification status under the EU-US MRA; Notified Body status in Europe under the LVD, R&TTE and Marine Equipment Directives and Competent Body status under the EMC Directive. BABT is also appointed to approve the Metering and Billing systems of the UK fixed and mobile telecommunications operators.

BABT is accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and RvA (Dutch Council for Accreditation) against EN 45011 (Product Certification Systems) and EN 45012 (Certification and Registration of Quality Systems).
