BABT gain UKAS accreditation to increase their Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) offering

BABT increase its SAR test capability and can now offer two SAR systems, one United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) accredited SAR system to the European Harmonised Standards EN50360 and EN50361 and another for reduced cost confidence / experimental testing.

The new standards and accreditation offer more repeatable test results using well defined procedures. BABT also perform testing to the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) OET Bulletin 65 Supplement C and follow the procedures referenced in the Draft Specification IEEE 1528. BABT have extensive experience in performing experimental SAR testing on body worn products and handsfree kits.
