NEW Training Course: An Introduction to Microbiology for the Manufacture of Sterile Medical Devices

TÜV Product Service will be holding a training course on an Introduction to Microbiology for the Manufacture of Sterile Medical Devices, which will take place at Octagon House, Fareham on the 12th April 2009.

Henry Sibun, Manger of TÜV SÜD Product Service’s Medical Health division in the UK, will be presenting the course alongside Anne Jury, a regulatory affairs consultant with over 20 years experience on the medical
and diagnostic healthcare products industries.

The training course will cover the fundamental aspects surrounding the process of sterilisation including an introduction to Microbiology, information on Bioburden, Contamination control, Sterilization Method Overview, Packaging, Workshop and Examination.

It will provide the opportunity to:

  1. Develop a good understanding of the important factors that go into producing sterile products, including some of the practical skills to enable them to implement and manage these activities within their own companies.
  2. Gain awareness of the potential pitfalls when being audited by regulatory bodies.
