Marine Equipment Directive (Module D & E)
TÜV SÜD BABT Document Library - Marine Equipment Directive Modules D and E Scheme
The scheme enables a manufacturer (or Authorised Representative) of product within the scope of the Marine Equipment Directive to obtain either a Module D Production Quality Assurance Certificate, or a Module E Product Quality Assurance Certificate for the facility which performs the final assembly of the product. Holders of a Module B (Type Examination Certificate), and either a Module D or E Certificate covering the same product may apply to TÜV SÜD BABT for a Certificate of Conformity with permits the placing of the Wheel Mark on their product.
