Obtaining the TÜV-Mark /TÜV SÜD BABT Octagon Mark demonstrates that you not only meet the Essential Health and Safety Requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and others, but have the expertise of a third party organization standing behind the quality and safety of your product(s).
A TÜV-Mark /TÜV SÜD BABT Octagon Mark is recognised globally, providing your products the marketing advantage and differentiation you need to gain share. To achieve certification, 2 criteria must be met, firstly, a technical certifier must ensure the product conforms with recognised safety standards / specifications (eg, EN 60950) and secondly that compliance will continue to be maintained in production from unit to unit produced over time.
