GCF Certification

In support of the certification of mobile wireless terminals under the arrangements established by the Global Certification Forum (GCF), BABT offers:

Independent Assessment of GCF Compliance Folders

Under BABT's Certified for Network Connection (CNC) scheme, BABT assesses the compliance folder for compliance with the GCF requirements. The procedure involves the submission of a GCF compliance folder to BABT; plus the assessment of the manufacturing location (normally a BABT Production Quality Certificate (PQC), a BABT Full Quality Assurance Approval (FQA) or an ISO9000 certification acceptable to BABT).

Sample reviews of GCF Compliance Folders by BABT Quality System Auditors

For holders of BABT FQA Approval and holders of BABT or TUV Product Service ISO 9000 Certification we offer extension of the certification scope to include a GCF Compliance Folder Review. The BABT auditor reviews a GCF compliance folder during the audit of the company quality system.
