Production Quality Certification Scheme - PQC

BABT has updated and enhanced its Production Quality Certification (PQC) scheme in line with the current market requirements for a process based quality system certification scheme. As from the 15th December 2003, BABT began auditing to the requirements of the updated scheme in line with the introduction of ISO 9001:2000. The scheme documentation can be found at PQC Documents

• Low cost alternative to ISO 9001:2000 - For manufacturers not wishing to seek certification to ISO 9001:2000, BABT PQC certification provides a viable alternative.
• Meets the Internal Production Control (continuing compliance in manufacture) requirements of the:
• EU R&TTE Directive (Annexes II, III and IV)
• BABT Certified for Network Connection (CNC) scheme
• BABT “tick” mark product safety certification scheme
• Maximised business opportunities - More and more major telecoms, radio and IT equipment suppliers are subcontracting manufacture, such suppliers are selecting, as their business partners, manufacturers with internationally recognised QMS certification such as that provided by the BABT PQC scheme.
• Demonstrates your production test capabilities to your customers - Your certificate annex will list details of your production test capabilities and this information will also be placed on the BABT web site to your advantage.
• Free use of the “BABT Approved” Octagon mark - Use this mark on company literature, web sites etc to demonstrate your certification and win business.

• Accredited by RvA (The Dutch National Accreditation Body).
