BABT has updated and enhanced its Certified for Network connection (CNC) scheme in line with current market requirements which includes free marketing support from BABT to its thousands of web users per month and includes the following benefits:

• Free use of the “BABT Approved” Octagon mark - Product suppliers can now use this mark on their products, packaging, advertising materials and web sites to gain a distinct advantage in global markets. Details of the format and artwork for the mark are available at the BABT Graphics section
• The opportunity to enter certified product details, free of charge, on the BABT web site to maximise marketing impact - the BABT web site allows product suppliers to add additional information concerning their certified products, as well as providing their corporate company overview.
• Simplified scheme documentation.

The CNC scheme enables manufacturers of telecoms and radio products to demonstrate that their products can interwork satisfactorily with the networks that they are intended to connect to. The BABT CNC certificate and “BABT Approved” mark can be used to demonstrate compliance with recognised standards, not just within the European Community, but throughout the world.
